Hours: 38 hours | Monday–Thursday | NO FRIDAYS

About the Role
Amey is seeking a Facilities Team Leader to support the delivery of Hard Facilities Management services at Dungeness Power Station.
Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you will lead operatives and subcontractors to ensure safe, compliant delivery of maintenance activities. This is a hands-on leadership position requiring strong technical knowledge and commitment to safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise operational teams and subcontractors
- Ensure works comply with statutory regulations and Amey standards
- Support Authorised Person responsibilities (training provided)
- Deliver task briefings and ensure adherence to safe systems of work
- Manage workflow and maintain accurate records
- Maintain asset and compliance documentation
- Support emergency response processes
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Promote a safety-first culture
- Prepare and review RAMS and COSHH
- Deliver toolbox talks
- Conduct inspections and audits
- Maintain QHSE documentation
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Provide leadership and support to teams
- Identify training needs
- Engage with the client and attend meetings
- Support KPI delivery
What you’ll bring
Required
- Supervisory experience within FM/maintenance
- Strong understanding of RAMS and compliance
- SMSTS, IOSH or equivalent
- Strong organisational skills
- Willingness to gain NRS authorisation
Desirable:
- Experience in regulated environments
- CDM knowledge
- KPI reporting understanding
